Soloists
-£500 towards music 1-1 lessons
-Support and guidance from professional musicians
-Mentored experience in leading rehearsals and conducting ensembles
-Great performance opportunities
-Free membership with UOR Music
Practical note: Where the lessons can’t be with one of our teachers, they can be with someone external. We can help you find someone if needed.
Please note, this is a wonderful opportunity. As part of it, it’s expected that you’ll take part weekly in at least one of UoR Music’s ensembles, and various concerts. As it’s funded by donors, it’s also expected that you’ll make small thanks and playing videos.
Accompanists
-£500 towards a combination of 1-1 music lessons, and ‘in rehearsal’ personal training.
-Support and guidance from professional musicians
-Mentored experience in leading rehearsals and conducting ensembles
-Great performance opportunities
-Free membership with UOR Music
Please note, this is a wonderful opportunity. As part of it, it’s expected that you’ll take regular part in accompanying UoR Music ensembles and musicians. This will involve the reasonable time to learn accompaniments in preparation for rehearsals and concerts. As it’s funded by donors, it’s also expected that you’ll make small thanks and playing videos.
Bands
-£400, direct to you, to put towards new kit, instruments, or studio time
-Support and guidance from professional musicians
-Professional guidance on tech and recording
-Great performance opportunities
-Free membership with UOR Music
Please note, this is a wonderful opportunity. As part of it, it’s expected that you’ll take regular part in gigs and events across the campus. As it’s funded by donors, it’s also expected that you’ll make small thanks and playing videos.
